Many railway enthusiasts don't consider China worth a visit anymore. But, have a look what is still possible. China's steam operated narrow gauge lines in November and December 2006: authentic, real steam operation!

Huanan

Der "uninteressante" Abschnitt der Waldbahn von Huanan im ersten Morgenlicht. The so called boring part of the forestry line of Huanan in the first morning dusk.

Yinghao

Das Spitzenlicht fingert sich durch die Dunkelheit eines Schneesturms. Der Heizer hat die Feuerertür geöffnet und taucht den Führerstand in oranges Licht. Wie lange wird der Baum wohl noch mitmachen? The headlight fingers through the snow storm. The fireman opened the firedoor to put fresh coal on the grate - so the whole cap glooms in orange light. Sad tree, how long will it survive?

Huangjinggou
